Floors are done, minus a few touch up spots here and there. Here's another comparison shot of the dining room so you can see the difference now it is stained.
The old dishwasher is out and the new one is getting ready to go in--
which gives us a new toy!
We all love the neighborhood pool! It's great not having to take care of it at all. Kate has a bathing suit with some inflatables inside so she can swim by herself. You can see how it pokes out in the front and back.
Jackson has a little suit that helps him float as well. He loves to be thrown up in the air-- repeatedly says "Up! Up!" It was fun to hear him squeal with delight yesterday when we drove into the parking lot of the pool and he realized where we were going.
It always makes me laugh to walk by Jackson's room after he has gone to sleep for the night because that's when it's brightest in his room. The sun setting in the west shines directly into his room so about 7:30 it's really sunny in there. The picture doesn't quite capture it but you can tell lots of sun is coming in!

We have movers scheduled to help transport all the big things from the rental house to the new house next Saturday. It will be great to be moved! Hopefully we'll be able to get more done in the evenings then, after the kids are asleep. Of course, I'm pretty exhausted once that time of day rolls around, so we'll see what happens.
