Jamie and I started a tradition when we were first married to take a Christmas hike, not always on Christmas but at some point over the holiday time. This year our hike was the weekend before Christmas. We went in search of snow and found a little. The amount didn't seem to matter to the kids, though; they had so much fun rolling around in it, trying to make snowballs and exploring.
