This weekend was our annual camping trip with the Moores and Skogmans. We headed over to NC to camp near Joyce Kilmer Forest and Lake Santeetlah.  Here are all the kiddos gathered together before a hike.

The water was really, really cold here!  It was quite entertaining watching everyone's faces as they got in.  Kate was very proud that she jumped off the rock into the deep swimming hole.

The Cherohala Skyway on the way home.  It was a gorgeous day for a drive! Really the weather the entire trip turned out beautifully.  There were scattered storms in the forecast but we just had some light sprinkles the whole time we were there-- three nights.

Our whole family looks forward to this trip every summer.  We are so blessed to have friends like these!
