Edisto

A ton of pictures from our vacation last week at Edisto Island, on the SC coast.  We rented a house right on the  beach!

 Sunset the first night.
Father's Day morning

View of the house from the beach.  It's been in the same family for five generations, perhaps one of the oldest and smallest places oceanfront on the island.
One of the best features of the house-- huge screened in porch with hammock.
 Great views for mealtimes...

There was a bike path just a road over from our house.  We borrowed a bike with training wheels for Ben and he was so proud to have a bike of his own to ride.  The other two are going great without training wheels these days.

Family self-portrait.  Just managed to get one shot before the kids all ran off, so I think this is pretty good!
These toy trucks have traveled all over with us.

So cute!
We explored a Wildlife Management Area not far from the house.  1/2 mile hike to the beach where people are not allowed to take shells home, so there were so neat ones to see.
Shells hung on the tree for everyone to see.  It was interesting to see a beach with all the trees going right out into the water. Great climbing trees.

Andy and Sherry came to spend the end of the week with us.  Here's Andy with the kids.

Sea turtle tracks and maybe nest?

Ben with his cool man hat on the last morning of our week.  Wonderful trip.
