Vogel Camping

We headed to the N. Ga mountains this weekend for some camping with the Skogmans and Moores, dear friends from Glisson. We all loved every minute of it. The kids had looked forward to this for weeks and were so sad to come home today. Here are the babies of the group-- Ben (almost 22 mo) and Grayson (4 mo).

Thanks to Joni's thought of bringing the bikes, there was a whole lot of this... Jackson was scaring everyone, I think, with the speed and fearlessness he had going down the hill.And then headed back up to do it again. And again. And again. This was right in front of our campsites. They did this for hours. Jackson has really gotten into riding bikes this spring and he is constantly asking to go ride.Baxter kept a little slower pace. Kate loves little Grayson.

Pancakes. Um, with an electric griddle. Darrell has got the car camping thing down! Ready for roasting marshmellows.Benjamin's first roasting experience. He went looking for his own stick as soon as he figured out what was going on. He's a natural! Beautiful Naomi and Clare!

The kids really did a great job going to sleep together in the tent. Ben really impressed me (and Jamie too because he was the one that really put them to bed).

Finishing off the weekend with a little Rev at the "Church Without Walls."
