Jamie's been getting work done on the playset as he has time. He's gotten the canvas roof on, a trapeze bar, a steering wheel and yesterday, the rope ladder.

I was kind of hoping that the first step would be too high for them to reach on their own, but Jackson has proven to be a little monkey and he has no problem climbing up to the top.

Kate needs a boost and spotter as she climbs.

And I'm sure Benjamin will be following in his brother's footsteps as soon as he gets a little taller.

At 22 months, Benjamin has moved on from his crib to a twin bed. He saw Kate sleeping in the twin when my parents were visiting and that's when he decided that he wanted to sleep there too. He refused to sleep in his crib any more and it was a wonderfully smooth transfer to the big boy bed. Two weeks later, though, he has realized that he has a little more freedom now, and he's been too busy to take his naps! He has a newfound interest in books so he's been piling them onto his bed and "reading." I've been astonished at how long he will stay awake looking at books.

Notice the superhero sheets! More passdowns from Jamie's childhood (the bed belonged to him too).

And a few more random pics to round things out-- Jackson digging into his taco at dinner. He's wearing footy pajamas. It is been in the 90's every day for weeks but he still loves to wear them.

Post-spaghetti dinner. With a choc chip cupcake for dessert. Kinda looks like he has a five o'clock shadow.

Wearing his new hat! Go Dawgs!

Posing for the camera.
