Swimming

Pool season has begun! Kate and Karen have been taking some swimming lessons so Kate can learn. She's starting to blow bubbles in the water and will try to swim if she sees a toy floating in the water nearby. She also will scoot off the side of the pool into Mommy's arms! Being submerged hasn't seemed to phase Kate too much, although it was definitely nerve wracking for me the first time! Here we are on our pool deck, enjoying a fun Sunday afternoon.

The big pool is still a little on the chilly side so

Kate gets to hang out in the wading pool.
She doesn't even mind if Jamie jumps in too!

And everyone knows that swimming makes you hungry.
Kate loves to get in the glider to read her books. She
puts the books in first and then climbs in herself.
