Kate and I flew home last Tuesday for her 4 month check-up. She has grown to 15 pounds and is doing great. We spent Wednesday visiting with my parents, including a visit to their new house out in Lexington. Thursday we drove down to Cordele to see my grandmother and then back up to the airport to pick up Jamie and head home to Marietta. Whew! We were able to spend a couple of days at home before we flew back to Virginia on Sunday. Here are pictures from some of the people we got to see, starting with Kate and her Grammy standing by the front doors of the new house.

Here's the new house. The comment they hear from everyone-- It looks big!

Kate just can't stay still while she's rocking with Granddaddy at the Barn.

Kate meets her great-grandmother for the first time!

A freshly bathed Kate says good-night to Grandpa and Grandma.

Here we are with Uncle Andy.

Kate finally gets to meet the Bowin boys! Chase (on left) and Cole are now two months old and are growing fast. They have doubled in size and are now up to Kate's birthweight, so you can do a bit of a comparison of how much Kate has grown since she was born.

Kate grabbed Chase's hand as soon as we put him next to her!

Leanne (Supermom of twins!) with Karen and Chase.

Our friends Scott and Riann England.

Looks like Jeffrey and Jamie are handling this fatherhood thing pretty well.

Kate is still going strong on the plane ride home. I think she really enjoyed her trip home. Posted by Picasa
